Hello!

I am an educator, entrepreneur, and speaker from Childersburg, Alabama. As the youngest of five children, I was raised in a loving family and excelled academically, graduating with honors from Childersburg High School and earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo.

My career in education began at Childersburg Middle School, where I taught all subjects. I later became a Technology Integration Specialist in the Talladega County School System, coaching teachers nationwide on using technology to enhance learning. Recognized for my innovation, I participated in Google’s Dynamic Learning Project and shared my expertise at Google Headquarters. I’ve been honored to receive accolades such as Teacher of the Year, the Lighting the Way Award, and the Talladega County Leaders to Learn From Award.

In 2019, my leadership journey expanded as I joined the OVA Academy, gaining further expertise in public speaking and coaching. By 2021, I transitioned to entrepreneurship, founding Excel Education Consulting and Coaching LLC, where I help entrepreneurs, churches, and small businesses leverage technology to grow their brands.

In June 2025, I decided to create a space for learners of all ages to excel in their endeavors. Excel Learning Lounge will be the place where students K-8 will learn, grow, and excel. No more FRUSTRATION, FEAR, OR ANXIETY about learning content.

I am passionate about empowering women who want to walk in purpose but feel stuck in a cycle of stagnation, frustration, and procrastination. My mission continues alongside my husband, Pastor Ted Chatman, at the World Changers Empowerment Center.

With a life dedicated to faith, education, and empowerment, I strive to inspire others to achieve their goals and embrace their potential.
